SEE Member Pierre Iriateborde Passed Away

Dear Seattle Euskal Etxea Members,

We have just learned that one of our members, Pierre Iriateborde, passed away on Monday, January 12.  Pierre was a longtime member of the Basque community in Washington and was a fixture at our events.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Barbara and their children.

Pierre will be remembered for his gregarious spirit and jovial nature.  He regularly attended events of Seattle Euskal Extea, and was the mus champion a couple of years. Pierre moved up here from the San Fran area where he was an active member of the Basque community there.
