   UW Language Day Recap
   2/27-Danielle,
   Marilou and Amaya attended the event. There was a large turnout of high school
   and UW students.  We added two attendees
   to the membership list.

 

1. II.
   Membership Drive
   Update-Gaizka
   sent out new membership drive last week and received 70 return to senders.

 

1. III.
   Grant Application
   Status Update-
   1. a.    Last years Receipts/Paperwork, due? Gorka will work with
      Gaizka.  2008 Receipts are due March 31.
   2. b.    New Grant Application -Information is not posted on NABO site
      yet.

 

1. IV.
   Spring Dinner-3/21 @12:30-7:30
   @747 16 Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112-ALL (coord with Nora & Conchita)

Evite is going out
this week, Gaizka will send membership list to Danielle

   Gaztealdea- Joe to coordinate
   with Toni
   1. a.    Status-  Scheduled for July
      10-18 at Fort Warden in Port Townsend.  
   2. b.    Support
   3. c.     Kauta  – A joint teaching
      initiative that may be coming to teach for the week.
      
      Kauta Band Visit- Board decided ant we can’t support the expense (room,
      board and transportation).  Joe will
      coordinate with John Ysursa and ask for proposed budget

 

1. VI.
   Summer/Fall Picnic
   1. a.    Location – Old Fort Townsend “Barn” is reserved on
      7/18.  Amaya will also reserve a site in
      Yakima as a backup if Gaztealdea is cancelled
   2. b.    Dates-7/18 for Old Fort Townsend/Gaztealdea or 8/8
      for Yakima
   3. c.     Mus – TBD
   4. d.    Food – Agustin Michelena will provide lamb
