Appetizer Potluck/Film Night, Sat 11/19 3-6pm

Nov 7, 2011 by

Kaixo danori,

It’s official. Seattle is in it’s Fall/Winter stride with dipping temps and darkness at 5pm! That being the case SEE has decided it’s a great time of year to host a Basque Film Night and that is exactly what we’ve planned with a double feature of two Pacific Northwest Basque films:

Zuretzako by Javi Zuibzarreta

and

Basques in the West by Amaya Oxarango-Ingram and Brent Barras, followed by Q&A with Brent Barras!
Donations are being accepted for the completion of this project, here.

Please bring an appetizer/food item to share and join us:

Saturday, November 19th from 3-6pm
West Seattle Senior Center, Nucor Room (upstairs)
4217 SW Oregon St.
Seattle, WA 98116

RSVP’s sent to board2@seattleeuskal.org appreciated!

Please note the building is secure so in order to get everyone in and start the movie on time without interruptions we request that all attendees arrive between 3:00-3:15pm. The movie room is far away from the front door so we will not be able to hear you knocking after 3:15pm!

Parking is available on the street as well as ina parking lot behind the Senior center across the alley.  The entrance to the parking lot is on 42nd Ave SW between Alaska Street and Oregon Street.  There are 4 handicap places on the NW end of the lot where the stairs go down to the alley behind the senior center.  This is a great place to park but I heard from the center that they have been cracking down and you can only park there for three hours and not a second more.  No moving to another space in that lot, so please plan accordingly.

We look forward to SEEing you there!

Joe
